About Me

As an educator for nearly ten years, I believe in the transformative power of art in the classroom. I feel that art is vital to education and allows us as humans to learn, grow, and shine as the best version of ourselves. Throughout my time as a teacher, I've refined and revamped many of these lessons and am always looking for new ideas to keep my class relevant and fresh. After 8 years at the secondary level, I transitioned to elementary and have built a district-wide program for grades TK-5th, allowing students to access content and express themselves through a creative means that inspires and ignites a love of learning. I hold 3 Single-Subject Teaching Credentials in the state of California as well as my BA and MA and am the founder and CEO of the nonprofit organization, The Art Bridge Collective.
