Explore the World of Art

Vibrant Brushstrokes:

Exploring Watercolor, Acrylic & Tempera

Have commitment issues? This class is for you. Whether you’re looking to find your signature style or you just want to see what happens when you mix things up, This class is designed to take the intimidation factor out of the studio.  Come for the technique, stay for the accidental therapy of watching paint dry. I’ll teach you the actual professional techniques, rules, and color theory—and then I’ll show you exactly how to bend them. If you’ve ever wanted to explore painting but didn't know where to start, consider this your official permission slip to come make a beautiful mess.  All skill levels welcome—just bring your curiosity (and maybe clothes you don't mind getting a little colorful).

Pages of Expression:

A Guided Sketchbook Series

This series is one of my absolute personal favorites because the sketchbook is where the real magic happens. Each class features a fresh collection of sketchbook-specific lessons designed to help you build a daily creative habit without the "it has to be a masterpiece" anxiety. I strongly recommend this for beginners (and recovering perfectionists) who want to hone their technical skills, experiment with new ideas, and finally fill a book from cover to cover.

Clay Creations:

Tactile Pottery & Sculpting

Are you someone who likes to physically hands-on solve problems, or do you just really miss making mud pies? Either way, welcome home! In Clay Creations, we’re ditching the intimidating, high-maintenance pottery wheel and getting back to basics with the incredibly versatile world of air-dry clay and traditional hand-building techniques.

Don't let the lack of a giant fiery kiln fool you—we are making actual, tangible art here. I’ll walk you through the essential rules of structural integrity, joining techniques, and sculpting methods so your creations actually stay together, and then we’ll dive into the fun part: adding texture, personality, and form.

Lines & Light:

Creative Drawing for All Levels

If your drawing experience peaks at a classic stick figure, don't panic. Lines & Light is here to prove that drawing isn't some mystical, superpower—it’s a skill you can actually learn (and have fun doing).

In this class, we’re unpacking the secrets of how to see like an artist and translate the three-dimensional world onto a flat piece of paper. To keep things exciting, we are diving into a versatile mix of media, stretching all the way from classic graphite pencils to bold, inks. I’ll teach you how to master the fundamentals of value, line weight, and perspective, giving you the tools to create everything from subtle, moody shadows to crisp, high-contrast statements. Whether you’re starting completely from scratch or looking to sharpen your existing technique, this course is designed to work with all skill levels.

Beyond the Canvas:

Collage & Mixed Media

Welcome to Beyond the Canvas, where the traditional rules of art go out the window and texture takes the crown.  This class is an all-out celebration of layers. We will be combining a variety of materials, paper, text, and paint to create rich, multidimensional visual stories. I’ll teach you the crucial professional techniques that keep a mixed media piece cohesive—like composition balance, and layering hierarchies—so your work looks intentionally curated.  It is the ultimate course for anyone who feels restricted by a single medium and wants to push the boundaries of what art can be. Bring your old magazines, your random paper scraps, and your wildest ideas. Let’s break the rules and build something unforgettable!
